Outfit of the Day

It's quite a challenge in the autumn to keep warm, be comfy and look nice at the same time. I spend the majority of my time wanting to be wrapped up and in comfy bottoms but equally don't want to be walking round campus looking like I've just got out of bed.

One of my go-to outfits in autumn is disco pants/wet look leggings with a big jumper, scarf and my leather jacket. I either wear boots or Uggs depending on whether it's meant to rain or not (the majority of the time in Bath it is) and try to do my make up a bit nicer than usual so I don't look like a complete slob!

Bristol Student Sessions Haul

This is gonna be a long one.. I suggest you get yourself a cuppa!
Oopsie
If you're a student, I'm sure you'll have heard of the Student Sessions or Lock Ins that big cities host. They're an evening of shopping dedicated to students (university or 6th form) and loads of shops get involved to give special offers, discounts and giveaways. Essentially, it's a shopping addicts dream!
My friends and I chose to go to the Bristol night rather than Bath as they have a few shops we don't have here and their shops are also bigger. Everyone loves a little road trip.

The Body Shop
Offer: 10% off, free membership, £10 off £25 spend or free goodie bag with £25 spend, 3 for 2 on skincare
I adore the tea tree collection.
I knew there was a lot of bits I wanted from The Body Shop as I have got really into their tea tree range and find it's really helping my acne.
I picked up the Tea Tree Skin Clearing Lotion, £3, and Vitamin E Overnight Serum-in-Oil, £13, which I already use and love. I have the Tea Tree Skin Clearing Foaming Cleanser but have heard really good reviews of the Tea Tree Cool and Creamy Wash, £5, so picked that up.
As I'm sure many acne sufferers will agree, my back is probably one of my worst acne areas, so I picked up the Tea Tree Body Wash, £6, to try and calm that down.
The final tea tree product was the Tea Tree Night Lotion, £9, which I'm going to apply over my serum  at night to help get rid of my spots.
The All-In-One Instablur, £14, took the beauty world by storm and I decided it's finally time to pick it up and try it out. It's a five action perfecter which is supposed to control shine for 12 hours, reduce appearance of pores, hide blemishes, unify complexion and extend make up. Expect a review on this soon!
Finally, I picked up the Wild Argan Oil Solid Oil Lip Balm, £4, as I have seen Fleur de Force raving about the range.

Everybody loves free things.
As I spent such an extortionate amount of money I got a free goodie bag worth just over £20. This contains the Vitamin E Sink-In Moisture Mask, £13, Eye Definer in black, £8, Big & Curvy Mascara, £10, and Camomile Eye Make Up Remover, £8.
Total saving of £42.63!!!

New Look
Offer: 20% off

I wasn't really fussed about any of the clothes in New Look but I'd seen this oversized scarf in there previously and fallen in love with it. Full price is £14.99 and it's so soft and warm, it's definitely going to be an autumn/winter staple.

H&M
Offer: 20% off

I'm always wearing sweaters so when I saw this pug one I couldn't resist. It's quite thick so will definitely keep me warm, I just hope I don't spill anything down it! Full price £14.99 (not on the website).

Pull&Bear
Offer: 20% off

I've never been in here before but I really like the shop. They've got some great bits in there and it's quite cheap! I picked up this gorgeous sweater which my boyfriend agreed looks like it was made specifically for me as I'm a huge floral fan. It's quite thick so perfect for winter. Full price £19.99.

River Island
Offer: 20% off

My final purchase! I saw this when I was out with my boyfriend a while ago but felt full price was too expensive. When I saw River Island had 20% off I knew I was going to buy it. You can really feel the quality of the top and although it's short sleeved the material is quite thick. Full price £18.00.

I'm now banned from shopping for a long time, however I did save a total of £52.63. You have to spend money to save money.

Accidental Haul

This post was scheduled to go up on 15th September but for some reason Blogger didn't set it live! I didn't want you to miss out on seeing these beauties so I'm setting it live now anyway!

With autumn drawing in and my return to Bath imminent I thought it was about time I bought myself a winter coat. I knew I wanted a parka with a furry hood and my search brought me to Topshop. At first, I had a lot of internal arguments about whether I could spend £98 on a coat but the more I thought about it the more acceptable it seemed. A good quality winter coat can last you years so really I was saving money, right??

All thoughts of money were out of my head when I tried this beauty on. You can really feel the quality of the coat and I can tell its going to keep me warm. The fur on the hood is detachable so if I ever want to take it off, its really simple. I did have to get this in a size smaller than I normally would which is odd considering it's a coat. Money well spent I think.

When I ordered my coat I saw that their lipsticks were on 2 for £12, with student discount that's £5.40 each. Again, saving myself money in the long run! I picked up two of the new autumn collection which are metallic shine lipsticks. I got the colours Drive which is a gorgeous pinky purple and Armour which is a metallic bronze.

I also took a trip to Boots and picked up the Kate Moss lipstick in 30 after seeing Amelia Liana's blog post, I think it cost around £5.50? I cannot wait to try these colours out.

My final purchase was this gorgeous royal blue button front cami also from Topshop. I bought one in bright orange for my 21st and love the fit so picked another up when I saw they were down to £12.

Tell me other people have shopping addictions too?!
