Monthly Favourites
I bought Rimmel Kate Moss number 30 after reading Amelia Liana's blog post about it and I can see why she raved about it so much. This shade is just amazing, it's a dark raspberry shade and makes your lips look amazing. I do have to pair it with a lip liner but that just helps to define the lips more. I can tell I'll be using this all the way through autumn and winter.
I got the Nude ProGenius treatment oil in a Birch Box a while back but it has become a staple in my skincare routine. I put this on at night and in the morning my skin is so soft and nourished. It's got quite an odd smell to it that I'm not sure I like but the results are worth my face smelling funny over night. The full size is £58 which I think is really expensive for skincare so I wouldn't repurchase but I'll definitely finish the bottle!
My final favourite I had to mention - when I left work a couple of weeks ago my manager bought me these pyjamas from Primark to keep me warm considering Bath is rather chilly. I barely took them off for a week and it got to the point that my boyfriend as well as my flatmate told me I needed to. I love this style of Primark pyjamas and I know I'll buy a lot more of them.
September Favourites!
So sorry for the lack of posts lately - the first week back at uni was busy to say the least, but I am back and I have brought September favourites!
The first is a recent purchase, Garnier Ultimate Blends shampoo and conditioner. This one is 'The silky smoother' with vanilla milk and papaya. First things first, the smell... oh my I don't think I've smelt a shampoo and conditioner so good. It claims to leave your hair with 'touchably smooth ends' and I definitely agree, my hair feels amazing after using these two but the conditioner doesn't weigh my hair down like some nourishing conditioners can do. If I wash my hair with these and then blow dry it my hair is so shiny and soft.
The second make up item is my L'Oreal True Match. I have a lot of foundations on the go at once but if I want a flawless face and foundation that's going to last this is what I turn to. The coverage is so good and it doesn't shift of my face. The foundation does claim 'In 2 weeks skin feels smoother, looks healthier and more even' which I'm not sure I would agree with but for a drug store foundation the quality is insane.
Since I'm back in student housing and don't have a TV licence, my Kindle has been getting a lot more attention than it would back home. I am addicted - any book I start I get completely sucked into and can't put down. Kindle's are a definite must-have. I have a paper white and it's amazing (mainly because I can read in bed without having a light on).
